Bulb burned out in a few weeks

One side burned out in the first few weeks. I would not recommend it. The installation went smoothly without touching the bulbs with your hands and draining the oil, but the bulb just couldn't take it.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No instructions

Phenomenal warranty support. 1 bulb only lasted 18 months.

Upgrade to 4 stars for phenomenal warranty support. First review: One pear only lasted 18 months. Until then it was good. Replacing a lightbulb is difficult, so you might end up spending the extra money on something better.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Not all fit

One bulb works but the other is dead.

Two bulbs came in a set. Great, but one pear died after two weeks. There is some strange internal discoloration after an accident. I compared it to a used lightbulb and didn't notice any color change. The other lamp still works, but I'm curious how long it will last. I replaced the blown bulb with a more expensive original bulb and it works again.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Some trouble

Suitable for 2008 Toyota Solara

There are two types of base bulbs for 2008 Toyota Solara. The cheaper the more expensive (D4S Xenon are more expensive types). I bought a D4S Xenon from Walmart (online), this bulb didn't work so I sent it back. Maybe a lightbulb burned out - I'm not sure. Then I bought this pair at DMEX via Revain, hooked it up and I'm happy - it works for me! Only used one so have a spare.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

DMEX Hg-free D4S - 35W - 4300K Xenon HID headlight bulbs

I have tried other Xenon HID headlight bulbs and they were not bright. I will try another brand and I will Will try DMEX Mercury Free Xenon HID bulbs D4S - 35W - 4300K in my 2007 Toyota Camry and they are much brighter than any bulbs I have tried. I don't know how long they will last but for now they are working well for me. I wish the hidden bulbs were a bit brighter because LED lights are way brighter than them

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Good but not great

Just like the originals, happy customer. They jump as long as OEM

So far so good, a little nervous after installing both lights and waiting for the review. In fact, there is no difference between this set and the original. Good, bright, no problems so far. Let's see what time will tell, but that goes for any electronic part. The OEM lasted about 5 years on a Mazda 6, I have the same OEM infinity type bulb which lasts 6 years. Let's see how they compare. Well price wise if they last more than 18 months then this is the best deal as the OEM is over $170.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
