Tested today on a Windows 10 workstation. Insert an old hard drive to test. The disc read well. Used EnCase to clean the disk, which worked with no problems. When I opened Disk Management I saw the hard drive as it should be. I repartitioned the hard drive and formatted it to NTFS. All of this happened while connected to the drive dock. I dropped several files onto a disk of around 20GB and everything was transferred correctly according to the sha1 hashes. That was the scope of the first tests.
