I thought I was stuck buying a new shed, or at least a new frame. Not with that. Drill out the old rivets and install this riveted lever from the kit and it works great. Even if you don't have a riveting tool, just go to a hardware store and get one for $12.

I always like a product that works straight away. The original operator broke, leaving a spring-loaded pen with a handle dangling freely in my hand. Choose something larger than the diameter of the replacement rivet and drill out the old rivets. All you have to do is drill out the head of the rivet and loosen the handle assembly. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot between the two sections of the post, rest the screwdriver against the rivet barrel, and tap the screwdriver until the rest
