This is the slim version. With the price of metals it was good value for money. It looks very nice and fits just like our old one, so it's a nice and easy transition. There was a mix-up with the delivery, but the seller sorted everything out quickly. Not sure if it's solid brass but we're happy with the purchase. Thank you for your online purchase.

This is normal for a strike plate. Unfortunately it's about 1/16" too short on both sides - I wish the screw holes were a bit closer to the edges to make it easier for me to trim it. The only other option was 30" and I don't want 2" " are open on both sides. Otherwise quality seems decent, installation should be easy. Very good color.

This is very important. The screws are wrapped in brown paper at the end of the protection plate. I thought mine didn't have it. I went to HD to buy some but didn't see anything I liked. I once again fished out the recycled bag and tore everything apart. I'm glad I did. The rest of the running board looks great. No dents or wavy edges. There are no scratches on the lining.
