Snapped on first use

Seemed like a good basketball knee pad but it ripped when I jumped onto the court after a loose ball when I first put it on. The connection of the rubber band to the strap is suspicious.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • So-so

Good support; bad sticky.

I love the support and low profile of these knee pads. However, the velcro is so weak that it rips open every time I bend my knees to jump. They're great for walking or running, but not for anything explosive. Shame as I bought them for skateboarding.

Pros
  • Easy Fit
Cons
  • Security

It doesn't work properly

This is a very good product with a good idea. It supports the kneecap while it works and it's not bulky. However, the side straps that the Velcro is attached to are too short, wear out sooner than expected, and often come loose, causing irritation. I would be happy with this product if they fixed that.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Vulgarity

This thing is magic

I've only had this thing for a week but so far it's working like magic. Reduces knee pain caused by tendonitis during sports and especially during daily activities by a GREAT PLUS. The straps are a little annoying at times because they don't stick as they should, but that doesn't happen often and honestly that's my only criticism of the product at the moment. I love this item so much I bought another brace for my other knee.

  • Price
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

It's ok if you don't have serious knee problems

I've been wearing knee pads and braces for almost 32 years. It was OK. I have ordered knee pads (2 for 9.99) in the past and still need them. This one fits the knee easily just for extra support when training, but I found it completely useless for my OA knee. I liked the fact that it was thin but in the end it's not what my knee needs.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Very expensive

Really works best with braces, splints and braces

I have tried all types of braces, belts and braces and months of physical therapy without much success. I have drawers full of these things. For some reason this one grabbed me. Totally pain free when I wear it and my knee remains pain free for some time after I take it off. Pretty amazing. Maybe it just suits my specific problem, but it really works for me. Love it so much I've bought 3 more if I ever have trouble finding it again. They're pretty inexpensive.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Has problems

Poor workmanship/stitching quality

I have not been able to wear this item long enough to determine if it provides adequate support due to the stitching cutting into the leather on the inside of the strap. After walking a few steps with this harness I felt a searing pain from the threads, chafing and scraping on the inside of the leg that I had to remove it. I think I could sew on a fabric lining to keep the threads from chafing as much, but that would then require some sewing skills. Putting aside the cost of this item you would

Saved my half marathon

Two weeks before the half marathon I was unable to run more than 50 meters due to pain from patellar tendinitis. This harness allowed me to finish the race with minimal pain. It's way better than cloth straps (which I've tried several types of). It's totally worth the extra cost as I find lower spec products comparatively inefficient. For a sizing note, my leg circumference just below the kneecap where this rides is 13.25 inches and I'm close to the upper size limit for small/medium. I would…

  • Compressed mesh back for maximum comfort and breathability
Cons

Great product but choose your size carefully.

Two sizes are described: S/M and L/XL. If your knee is the same as mine and in the 15 inch upper limit for an M strap, don't order S/M; I received an "S" for being marked as such, but I was able to return it and get a larger size. The L/XL size marked "L" is larger but fits the job well enough. Please select a larger size when ordering. Pain and facilitate rehab/physical therapy efforts much better than many competitors. This is a good product and they have responsive customer service.

  • Silicone webbing applies even pressure to the patellar tendon to relieve pain
Cons
  • The list goes on.

It really works! - Leg and foot supports

Last year I tore my meniscus and cruciate ligament. I had surgery at the end of March. I recovered well/quickly and by June I was able to get back to things. But even a year later, jogging or running hurts, long walks (especially going downhill) or the first steps after sitting at the computer for a long time are a bit shaky. My other knee is fine, but the knee I had surgery on is not 100%. So I got this before a trip where I knew I was going to walk. I didn't understand how a tiny strap could…
