I thought this was a reaction to my fridge handle banging on the wall next to it. I installed it and wanted to change the position a bit so I removed it and it removed the color with it. I repainted this place and installed a second time. I'm still not thrilled but figured I'd find another place to use them. I removed it VERY CAREFULLY the second time and the color came off again. Dissatisfied. :(

I don't understand why they are rated so highly. Within an hour of installing our walls, one fell off. The next morning two more had fallen, one of which took some paint with it. Only one of the four remained in place. It says they are reusable, just rinse and you're done. no After rinsing, they are about 50% more sticky than they were originally. I like the size and the fact that they are clear and more subtle, but they just aren't effective. Have to order something else, waste of money.

These picks do a great job of what they're designed for - protecting walls and fine furniture from slamming doors. I had to find something else to protect where the doorknob meets the wall, but that's only because my two year old kept pulling it off the wall and it eventually lost its stickiness. Wonderful little devices. They are very flexible yet strong and the adhesive doesn't seem to damage the paint or plaster. At first glance they look great outside of the packaging. I thought they were on the wall and the color of the wall would just blend in and they would become a bit invisible. NO.
