It fits a 2006 Ford Escape V6

It was an easy install, the part fits perfectly and works like new. I highly recommend it. It will fit a 2006 V6 Ford Escape, although recommendations say it won't.

Pros
  • Great overall specs
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Perfect fit for coolant rebuild kits

Good solid replacement, looks as good as OEM. Installation 5 minutes, literally one nut is removed, the other is loosened, two clamps with pliers. When changing hoses, I held the tank up and didn't spill a drop.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Useless features

Perfect fit for 2002 Mazda Tribute

Easy to install. All attachment points are present. This has a sensor port, but your car may or may not need it. It took 10 minutes to replace the old one. There is a video on YouTube on how to do this.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Dash light went out 👍

My water tank light came on preventing the AC from activating. Replaced, now my AC is on. The sensor in the old reservoir was corroded causing the sensor to read a false low coolant reading. This new tank comes with a sensor and it appears to be working.

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Fairly good

GOOD REPLACEMENT - Coolant Conversion Kits

Looks like the original, includes a water level sensor and fittings like the original. If you're careful, you can get the whole job done without spilling a single drop of liquid. However, I do not recommend topping up every drop from an old tank as it will likely have a lot of dirt at the bottom.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Frequency

Works on 2001 Ford Escape including sensor.

This worked great on my 2001 Ford Escape. The shop asked $600 for the replacement. The clean install cost me $40 and 15 minutes. It was easy to uninstall and reinstall. The reason I replaced my old one was because the gauge stayed in the dash. This switched on the sensor and switched off the light. Saved money, works great and gets rid of that pesky dash light bulb.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

This was a lot better quality than the ones I bought on ebay - I bought 2 of these and had to throw them away as the threads on the bottle didn't match the threads on the cap. The lid just twisted and never tightened. They refunded my money so I bought Dorman and voila! I was in the store for about $5 more than junk that didn't work from A1 Auto. Thank you Dorman!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad

Super fast shipping and perfect fit!

Revain Garage says this doesn't match my 2002 Tribute but it's the same model that other stores sell. It came overnight - much, much faster than Revane expected. It fit perfectly and was very easy to assemble. TIP: Other commenters have mentioned that all fluids will drain out when the old container is removed. To prevent this, take masking tape and cut 4 small strips. When disconnecting the hoses, apply tape to the end of the hose and to the tank inlet. Then your liquids won't spill. Once the…

Did the job at Ford Escape but recently failed

Matches my 2001/02 Ford Escape perfectly. It's a shame the original floats fail so easily, but fortunately these replacements are available at a decent price and are relatively easy to install with a few hand tools. Update October 5, 2012: I have bought 3 of these in the last 5 years (lots of old Ford Escapes in our family). In general, we were lucky, but the last one, bought in June 2012, lasted 3 months and failed just like the original (the float in the tank fails, indicating a faulty lack…
