Perfect fit for engine parts

Not much to say about them other than they fit perfectly and I've had no problems with them. I don't see any flaws, and they make the electrical connection to the battery much easier than the built-in "pillars" it has.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Fading

Just what I needed

These little guys save lives. The old bolts have served since 2004, were shot. It was an exact replacement for that, 8mm hex head and all. The fit was perfect and there were no more battery issues due to a bad connection. Sweet!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Great investment

ideal. I have a 16 year old car and have had occasional dead battery issues even after paying almost $200 for a new battery and almost $300 for a new alternator. I replaced them. No more problems, for over 6 months.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't remember, but it was something

I didn't need them but they came in handy.

My 1990 Chevy K2500 doesn't last much run time and had a slow battery drain, what I later found out was the light switch so I replaced it. I had a manual shutdown on the negative side, but if I forgot after a few weeks it would drain the battery to start it. When I took it out to charge overnight there was nothing for the cables to press against, so that problem was solved.

Pros
  • Brilliantly Done
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions

They fit! if you need them for your special battery.

Immediate (almost) delivery and battery replacement of my 2004 Chevy Avalanche now has perfectly matched +/- posts. These things seem pretty hard to come by - I found ONE at my local auto parts store for the price of TWO battery bolts on a Revain. I had a 'regular' battery that I replaced in the AV, but kept the old battery for 'jumper' if needed, but didn't have screws to attach the side connectors on that OEM battery, so I do it now. Worked great and very fast shipping as mentioned in my…

Better Than Stock: Engines & Engine Parts

I always choose OEM parts. I replaced two new batteries on my Duramax and the problem returned; hard/slow start and main unit memory leak. I thought, "F! I've got a bad new battery!” Not so fast, factory bolts are less threaded than these; Improving Dorman's posts. Prevented the destruction of my truck. With a normal vehicle, this is not a problem if the cable breaks, no damage, no electricity. The diesel has two batteries. When the positive cable on the passenger battery came loose, it was…

Better OEM! best battery accessory

These new aftermarket side supports easily screw into my GMC's Envoy battery. These rods appear to be better quality metal as the hex heads on the old rods did not hold their shape when tightened. I found that the lack of space under the hood required an adjustable wrench rather than a more appropriate outlet. However, using the adjustable wrench, I was able to fully tighten the new posts and the post heads were undamaged and held their shape. As I found with the old original messages, if you…

What a great product!

I have a 2002 Chevy Surburban with 400,445 miles (the gray old mare ain't what she used to be BUT I still love her) I've had intermittent battery issues since 2017. Once in a while. The battery started, sometimes not. Just recently all my old tricks to get it to start didn't work. When I charged the battery a few months ago, I noticed that the battery screws or pins had lost most of the threads. I posted these new posts and they are 100% better than the original and my Suburban just started…

works but. on spare parts

This only works on the negative pole, which is too short for the positive pole on my truck. If you only have one wire on the positive side, it will work for both. The first cable I used seemed an odd size, I had a hard time finding the right wrench, it also felt soft. In fact, when I unscrewed it and put it back in, it rounded off. As they come in two packs I put one in - what a difference! The 5/16 wrench fitted snugly and perfectly - I tightened it up nice and it didn't twist at all. I can…
