Perfect part for engine cooling and air conditioning

Delivery was fast, park was well packaged and matched my 2017 Jeep Wrangler perfectly. I gave it four stars for ease of installation, not because of the company but because the Jeep is very, very tight and I recommend you watch a few different YouTube videos on how to get to different bolts. You will definitely need extensions for your ratchet universal joint

product A+; No complaints

I installed 2 of these on my 2012 Chrysler 200 S. First on the passenger side. Very easy. A week later the driver's side went out. Getting to the driver's side is a lot harder, but that doesn't detract from the product in any way. Despite the negative review I read here, someone said it would just break after a few weeks - MY PRODUCT ONLY HELD GOOD AND NOT ACCIDENTALLY BREAKING. May I add that O'Reilly Auto Parts offers the exact same product at twice the price!

It can save you a lot of money

After reading other reviews about the difficulty of installation, I decided to give it a try (after getting the price from my local dealer). I was really hesitant but found it was just as difficult as others have described, even with a 90 degree screwdriver. After losing a pint of blood and using a dozen patches, I was dying to show my wife how much money I had saved. It's been in the car for a month now and it works great. I wrote down the model numbers for future reference as each car has…

Difficult to assemble

This is by no means a fault of the product, the product is amazing. Installing this part is difficult but doable, it only takes about 15-20 minutes depending on your flexibility. This part is in three locations on the Chrysler 200: two behind the glove box (MUCH EASIER THAN THE THIRD), the third location is on the driver's side above the accelerator pedal. I found it easiest to slide the driver's seat all the way back and lie on my back with a short screwdriver and a flashlight. The correct…

Perfect replacement

Much cheaper than OEM. Seems MUCH cheaper. Not sure why the OEM part is so expensive, I disassembled a broken OEM drive after installing it and the construction is pretty simple and straightforward. A few very cheap injection molded plastic gears, a small electric motor, and an injection molded case all add up to something that probably won't cost more than a few dollars to manufacture. I could say "budget" version while I probably still benefit from it. The climate click problem in my car has…

Decent value - so far so good

If you look at the picture of the electrical connector on the product website it looks OEM. However, when you receive it, you'll find that it doesn't really match the OEM notch pattern. I'm not sure why there are differences between what is shown and what is broadcast. I've attached a picture to show the differences (OEM on the right). Don't let that discourage you. The connector should fit. I've had a heck of a lot of time with a connecting wire that had no slack to work with. If you had to…

Biggest PITA ever installed

Our old van started rattling behind the dash. After watching videos online I figured it would be an easy install and I wouldn't have to spend hundreds on this repair. The glove box opened and slightly dropped. I checked which drive is defective, found it on the left side behind the glove box. No hands went up to undo the screws. I tried to find a video how to get there, I didn't find it. It would probably take hours to remove the glove box lid. Finally, after a 30 minute job removing the…

2014 Dodge Journey Drivetrain Replacement

These drivetrain motors solved an issue I had with my 2014 Dodge Journey which was making a clicking noise behind the dash. Talk about saving literally hundreds of dollars in labor by doing the repairs yourself! I only gave 3 stars for ease of installation because Dodge engineers seem to have gone to great lengths to make this nearly impossible and almost certainly advise against attempting these types of repairs outside of the dealership. or service center. I walked away wriggling around…

Thank god for Dorman. I can really afford to fix my car.

I appreciate Dorman's manufacturing of automotive products. They are usually much cheaper than those made by car manufacturers (Chrysler in this case). Considering the original broke after just a few years, Chrysler doesn't seem averse to using cheap plastic gears in their products. I expect this Dorman to last at least as long and hopefully longer. In any case, it costs less than $20 and I was able to install it myself. There were no surprises and it fit just like the original. Update 9 months
