Description of πŸ”§ Dorman OE FIX 615-380 Engine Intake Manifold for Buick/Chevrolet Models

Improved design - this intake manifold has been redesigned to correct a common PCV valve failure in the original equipment design to reduce excessive oil consumption. Complete kit - this manifold includes a new throttle body gasket, port gaskets, fuel injector O-rings, MAP sensor O-ring and screws for a complete installation. Quality American construction - this intake manifold is engineered and manufactured in the United States of tough nylon polymer to resist cracking and warping. Related repair - this manifold often leads to failure in the valve cover's PCV diaphragm; a damaged valve cover will often need to be replaced at the same time as the manifold. Ensure fit – to make sure this part fits your exact vehicle, input your make, model and trim level into the Amazon Garage.

Easy distributor replacement

Perfect for my 2012 1.4 cruze! The description on Revain is a bit misleading. This is suitable for a single card sensor, not double as in the description. Dual map sensors were 2011 and older. I already found this out by checking the part number on the Dorman website.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • I have no major complaints about it, everything is fine

Great product but didn't fit

I bought this air intake for my Chevy Cruze 1.4 Eng Turbo. Telling you they need to change the site to reflect the correct application and actually got the answer in the end line if you are looking for the chevy cruze mentioned above this is not the one.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • No automatic

A harness clip MAP

I have a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze. First year model. It has two harnesses that connect to the MAP sensor. Newer models have a MAP sensor setting. This Dorman intake manifold accommodates a MAP sensor harness. I got it working though. One of the clamps is literally just a barometric pressure sensor and doesn't really need to be connected to the manifold (just keep it clean and dry). Tie him to something reliable. So far, so good. There are no check engine lights.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Some faults

Repair OEM parts. Good choice.

I recommend replacing the old used original intake. OLD WILL DESTROY THE PCV SYSTEM. This one cleared over ten trouble codes (check engine light). Most of these were caused by the PCV system. The integrated system leaves you with no other options. Dorman took care of that. Redesigned and less vulnerable. Also order the pipe that goes to the front of the turbine. Even on vehicles with lower mileage, the hose is fragile and brittle. This saves you from waiting for a separate order and delivery. I

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price

If your Cruze is leaking oil or suddenly ejecting oil from an unknown location, the one-way valve in the intake manifold is worn and missing. This valve regulates the pressure in the crankcase. If the valve is missing, the engine will build up so much pressure that oil will leak out of the engine. This new improved design manifold prevents this valve from coming out. Oil suddenly leaked out of the engine compartment on the passenger side. I couldn't tell where it came from. The car is not…

  • Amazing

Good solution/update for GM 1.4L Turbo PCV problems

As many of you know, the main problem and the main cause of oil leaks and rough idle on the GM 1.4L Turbo is the rubber valve in the intake manifold. As soon as this disappears or does not work, the valve cover membrane soon fails. GM now pays to replace valve covers but not intake manifolds. So if you still want to put on valve caps and connect the problem, that's fine. However, this is your permanent solution. Google "cruzetalk pcv issues" for more information on this apparent defect. You can

Pros
  • Very good value for money

  • Reliability
