Good value replacement parts

I installed it a year ago and it works great. Search YouTube for videos on how to save time with this setup. You will not regret it. You will need a fan clutch tool to remove it from the water pump.

The quality of Dorman decreases every year.

I have been a professional automotive technician for over 20 years and every year I see the quality of Dorman diminishing. Yes, they have very good products, but they make up a very small percentage of what they sell. This particular product was disappointing! It's like flying a jet with the engines on. On the other hand, you can always return it if you have time of course...

But the price is right.

This is the second Dorman fan clutch I've bought. The first lasted about 1.5 years. To replace, do it right and remove the fan AND the cover. Otherwise you will damage the radiator. You get what you pay for, it will work for a cheap fix but it stays on too long once you get behind the wheel. Great for an air conditioner, but it puts a strain on the water pump. I also suggest replacing the water pump at the same time, although it doesn't seem necessary.

  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Stop! Do not buy this device! The Delco AC version is $

Don't buy this! Turns out the Dorman doesn't have updated electrical connectors so you're still getting fan speed errors when installing this unit (happened on my 2002 GMC Envoy). Do yourself a favor and get the Delco version of the AC, which is OEM and has updated electrical connections. If you don't, you'll probably have to install twice; once to install a failed Dorman unit and a second time to install a Delco air conditioner.

Fits perfectly. Works like an OEM part.

04 TrailBlazer Last year I bought a different fan clutch (cheaper) from another Revain seller. He died a few months later. I have read many reviews and found that I am far from the first to receive a defective clutch straight out of the box from this seller. This is a little more expensive than the previous one but seems to work just as well as the OEM fan clutch. It's pretty easy to install if you have the right tools and know-how. If you don't know how to do it, there are videos on YouTube…

VERY PLEASED - Clutches

The old fan clutch on my outrider was starting to bind. I bought this through Revain because it's half the price at local parts stores near me. It has been on the engine for over a month and is now used daily with no problems. OK, that's an update. Bought this fan clutch in July 2013 and started getting codes for this fan in January 2015. A Brief History After its removal, a wire broke literally split as if severed, a classic poor quality primary wire. Good luck contacting Dorman to make sure…

Headache in claws for several days

I literally almost exploded! That piece of junk didn't work for a week man! I'm only complaining because I'm a fisherman and I'm always at sea. Do not buy this item from a seller. I would highly recommend the much better quality Delco AC Fan Clutch. As most reviews say was it hell to change afterwards to not work? I am a very disappointed person. When I turn my ax on, the fan doesn't kick up to cool the coolant properly. My radiator is not a problem as it gets hot without air conditioning. I…

Works like a charm at a reduced price

Picked up at Warehouse Deals for $89, almost 20% off the regular Revain price of a new part. This fan clutch looked like new only without the original packaging. Installed and cleaned the SES display on my 04 Envoy. Great offer! *By the way, removing my old fan clutch wasn't as easy as other people on the web claimed. I do not doubt its accuracy, I attribute this to the fact that it is an original part. Anyway, I rented fan clutch tools from A*toz*ne Parts Store and spent 2.5 hours removing the

I received this item on the 8th July, I buy a lot of car parts on the Revain website for 5 cars and 1 motorcycle that I own (always I work on one of these), by the time I was able to fit this part it was already there About 3-4 weeks later I had my first chance between working full time and installing other parts on my other cars; After about a week my daughter who was driving this car noticed that it got a little warm, I tried different ways to fix it but nothing worked! I took the car to a…
