Review on 🔧 Dorman 622-001 Engine Cooling Fan Clutch for Selected Models with Enhanced Performance, in Sleek Black Shade by David Plunkett

Picked up at Warehouse Deals for $89, almost 20% off the regular Revain price of a new part. This fan clutch looked like new only without the original packaging. Installed and cleaned the SES display on my 04 Envoy. Great offer! *By the way, removing my old fan clutch wasn't as easy as other people on the web claimed. I do not doubt its accuracy, I attribute this to the fact that it is an original part. Anyway, I rented fan clutch tools from A*toz*ne Parts Store and spent 2.5 hours removing the old part. Loosen 4 water pump bolts and find the correct wrench to install them. 4 screws tightened. I tried the included 38mm wrench but it nearly ripped off the fan clutch nut. Bought a 12" crescent wrench that opened 1 1/2" and fitted it to the nut. Still couldn't break even if you hit the wrench with a pen. Eventually the nut with the 3" tension tubes broke on both keys. Followed by information on Trailvoydotcom for removing the fan shroud. Install in reverse order.
