Perfect fit, nice and even

Replaced a rusted OEM. Cheaper than wasting time sandblasting and painting the original. Just as good as OEM. However, China did. Do not like

Solid differential cover in gearbox and transmission

Works great if you don't drive over rocks or off-road all the time, if you only take your truck into the woods/off-road every now and then this guy is if the Differential cover is OK.

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Functionality

Good choice! in Differential Covers

Check price and quality by comparing elsewhere. You wonder why someone else wants all your money. Because if you need it and don't buy it here. You must have money to throw away.

Perfect fit best in spare parts

The original started to leak due to rust, thought about getting a fashion case but this cheap one fits the back of my ranger perfectly, good solid case. Painted, installed new screws, looks great.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Its worth it! Just to save time

This cover fits my 2002 Ford Ranger 10 bolt diff just like the original. Good sealing, no leaks. I'm happy to pay the $17 to avoid having to scrape off that old RTV that the previous owner smeared on it. If you see RTV glue on your diff, grab one of these caps and a gasket to save time and hassle later. I bought a reusable Lube Locker LLR-F880 that comes with mine.

Pros
  • Easy to read panel
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Perfect fit and feel

How does it feel? Nice that you asked. It is perfectly formed and has no corners or edges. All the holes line up perfectly and it comes with a magnet to collect all those tiny particles that love messing things up in the back of your SUV, truck or car! That's right folks, a little magnet can help save your pumpkin. Old school rear diff. Dorman makes some really great aftermarket products. This was used in Eddie Bauer's 2001 Ford Explorer SUV. The perfect addition to the old back. With new…

It also had what looked like a Dorman icon

The picture is a bit misleading. Model 696-702 does NOT come with a gasket. I also saw some people talking about the lack of a drain hole. This model does not have a drain hole. The circle you see is a magnet that attracts metal shavings that develop over time as the gears wear against each other. Another misleading thing is that I have seen reviews that said this model was unpainted etc. The model I received was painted black. It also had what appeared to be a Dorman symbol, a part number, and
