This product worked well with a 2001 Honda Odyssey except for one issue. The power cable connected to the motor was taped to the top of the motor to prevent the cable from being routed through the door panel to connect. Remove the tape from the top of the motor, bend the wire down to the bottom of the motor and re-tape to allow the power wire to continue through the door panel and connect to the power supply. TAKE THE TIME AND DO IT YOURSELF

(picture shows the 250 "fix" I paid for, not a new part). Like a busy dad, this one may be too small to let go and pay someone to fix it. So I go to the store that is closest and most convenient for me to fix it. After $250 and another day, my van is complete. I said maybe I'm just worrying and getting on with my day. Fast forward 2 months, get in the car and walk, pretend the window goes down but won't go back up. M?!%er@!c&r. If you want something done right, do it yourself! So I get myself a

Works like the original OEM, up and down well and fast, no crash.

Great product. I bought a warehouse deal and saved almost $10 just because the packaging was damaged. A brand new Honda OEM part cost three times as much and this Dorman window regulator was almost an exact replica of the original. The window goes up and down very quickly and everything works like new. I find these Dorman controls come with a lifetime warranty which is a huge plus. That's about a 2 hour job for a typical shade tree mechanic. I found that the new regulator window glass bracket…

Twice as long to install - not an exact replacement for OEM

Unit will install on a 2004 Honda Odyssey with some minor issues - this is not an exact OEM replacement. It is important that the cable does not fall and eventually cut through the sheet metal. Two cable clamps had to be moved from the original cable to the new cable. One clip is inserted into the electrical connector and the other clip is inserted around the wire about 3 inches from the connector. I used a flat jewelry screwdriver (very small) to poke it between the connector and the clip to…
