Dorman 76833 HVAC Control Button Kit for Saab Models - Black: Improve Climate Control Functionality Review

All Saab owners are afraid when the climate control knobs come loose. While they're not exactly the same material, they do the job and should last longer.

I replaced all the worn knobs on my Saab console with this Dorman kit. It was easy to make and these buttons have a better design than the original.

Fits perfectly in my Saab 9-3 Aero. I had to find a YouTube video to figure out how to disassemble the console, but as soon as I did the buttons popped out immediately.

Installation is as easy as the original design. The hardest part (which isn't difficult at all) was removing the plastic injection mesh. I noticed that the white is slightly different from the original, but it's not noticeable in the car.

Replaced all my buttons as they wear out easily especially the AC button. Installation is very easy and takes about 30 minutes. They all fit very well and there is no difference from the OEM. Would buy it again if needed.

After years of looking at old knobs with paint peeling this is a big improvement. New knobs will NOT scratch or wear out. When installing new buttons, make sure the top of each button slides under the tiny tabs so that it wobbles when you press the tabs. If you don't, you'll have to take it apart and do it all over again.

THE BEST $13 I'VE SPENT IN A LONG TIME. They are of amazing quality and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Keep a few things in mind: First, while Revain says it won't fit in the Arc Convertible, it will. PERFECT. Second, make sure you carefully cut them out of the sprue and scrape off any excess material with a sharp blade. If you try to pull them out with your hands, you can damage the snap button.
