Dorman 76994 Universal Vent Window Review

This is an excellent anti-theft device for old cars. Once installed, no one can get through the wing without breaking it. I smeared the rubber with WD-40 to make it easier to install.

Relationships aren't easy to build. But it works. I had to nail them carefully (it was risky) - the rubber provided was too thick. In the end, that brought them even closer together. This removed some of the wind noise in the cockpit.

Mandatory if you have a 1960's car with easy open fenders like mine (65 Mustang). The visual and mechanical deterrent, as well as the steering wheel lock and door alarm, give me peace of mind when I'm parked in a parking lot for hours.

The product is fine. once you cut your own rubber insulators from your personal supply as the ones supplied will rot with age and will snap in half immediately if you stack them as instructed. Revain is up and running, but strangely, contacting them about this is an impossible task as the site throws you around and never provides contact information. Not expensive enough to deserve a refund, but not cheap enough to just ignore this fatal flaw. So I'm leaving a 2 star rating for both the product

I have a 1996 Ford F150 and the driver's side window vent lever broke off. I soon realized I couldn't replace the handle and I needed a new vent window assembly, which was expensive. I found these vent caps at Revain and ordered a set. Fabulous! They work great and are easy to install! I had to hammer them in carefully but they fit snugly and the vent is now secure and no wind and rain noise coming down the road. I didn't use the rubber pieces that came with the kit as they made it too tight…
