Missed Opportunities.

Never used! It was packaged well, looked just like the original and at a great price. We exchanged the car before I could hand it in. I hope the new owners still like it.

Works and fits perfectly. 15 minutes change and that's it.

Works and fits perfectly. 15 minutes exchange and now the woman's jeep is 100% back. The dealer wanted $300 for the part/labor and wasn't sure if that would solve the problem. Tried to tell me it was probably a computer, controller, etc.

Perfect fit for spare parts

Perfect fit for our 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Used on a tailgate, only complaint is the door is a bit difficult to open. You have to pull hard on the handle to open the door. I hope this will smooth out as we continue to use it.

DON'T BUY PARTS FOR PARTS

Less than two months after installation, the Jeep keeps telling us the door is open but the interior light stays on. Something inside has obviously failed. The original made noise, but at least it worked and didn't turn on all the interior lights! How do I get my money back?

Cheap! Lasted less than a month.

When it worked, the door lock moved very slowly and was much noisier than factory parts. Less than a month later, the doorknob is stuck and the interior light stays on. The Jeep keeps telling us that the door is open. I suspect something is broken inside. An OEM MOPAR part was ordered. How can I claim my money back?

Working but not top quality

Looks like an OEM part and is easy to fit. However, if all three mounting screws were tightened, the door latch lever would bind (if I loosen the bottom screw a little, it no longer binds). Even when opening the door from the inside, there is a slight "jamming" when unlocking the latch. However, the electric drive worked well. Considering it was less than half the cost of the original replacement I'm happy with that for a 14 year old car.

Dorman 931-002 Passenger Door Latch Actuator for 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

After some Revain malfunctions I was delivered on Friday (ordered Monday) not without a stomach ache on my part. The item was delivered by the USPS at 12:30pm and I cannot say enough about the ingenuity of this arrangement. At 3:00 p.m. it was installed and working. It fits perfectly and still works like a charm. If UPS had delivered it it would have been at 5:30pm, I know because I was walking my dog when the UPS truck drove past me. Also, it would cost a fortune to send it in for repairs. The
