unsatisfied.: Motors

. I bought one from Amazon 2 months ago and the drive fails, the motors slip and the door will not lock or open. Very disappointed with this, Amazon seems to only give you a 30 day window to return this $55 product.

Works great, just like it did from the factory.

Not sure if others had defective parts or if Dorman changed the design. The drive works perfectly, there have been no problems since installation. It comes with all new plastic bar mounts that are incredibly strong. This is a plus in my book. I've tightened it fairly tight and there doesn't seem to be any problems. I will update my review if there are any issues.

Product with dangerous defect

The actuator worked normally until the fastening screws were tightened, after which it did not unlock. After removing the block from the car and trying it on the stand, it worked again until the 3 fastening screws were installed and tightened. It could have been a disaster if I had closed the door because in this state it is impossible not to even open it from the inside. I have previously installed a left handed Dorman model and have not had this issue. However, on the left version, the range…
