Not so warm. I am a grown woman, the hat fits perfectly. It's soft and comfortable, but lacks the warmth needed for Wisconsin weather. This hat is very, very cute. And it's beautifully aligned over SOME parts of the hat - just the bottom half. But there is no lining in the top half of the hat (for the pompom) which is not stated anywhere in the description. For me it broke the deal - I needed a fully lined beanie. Great hat! Bought it in both red/rainbow and muted blue. It fits well and is very warm. The faux sheepskin lining doesn't reach the top of the hat so I think the top should be a little sloppy (it suits me). I noticed that another reviewer said it was really big; However, I have a small/regular head and it fits great. My 13 year old daughter (super skinny Minnie) wears it really well too - just don't wear it all the way (that casualness I mentioned above) and it fits well/keeps you warm. :-)
