I love trying different blades but the quality of each may not be the best. I always check my blades before using them and noticed a good hit on the first blade I pulled out. Check your blades to make sure you aren't accidentally cutting yourself.

If you use a double edge safety razor not all brands of blades will work for you. Each blade company uses a different coating and sharpens blades to different degrees of sharpness. The sharpest blade is not necessarily the right one for your skin type and beard. With this sample set, you can try out different blades and decide what you like best.

This was a great way to test out all the major blade brands. We women need the right balance: not too hard, not too boring. Several cuts were terribly sharp and cut me at the back of my ankles (a common spot). The only problem is that since I only shave twice a week I looked through the pack for so long I forgot which ones I liked!
