I wish I knew about this sooner

What a fantastic product. I often shorten shirts and hems on a regular home machine. Well, any kind of stretchy fabric looks pretty unprofessional when hemmed in this way. Using duct tape fixed this and I wish I had known sooner. Works perfectly. I attach and sew a border. Washing the clothes didn't change the appearance and I didn't see any glue residue seeping out.

  • Great price

This thing is magical

This thing sounds too good to be true, but it's every bit as good as it looks. I was instructed to sew a dress in a form-fitting fabric that made even my seasoned seamstresses grimace. The tape kept my seams from stretching and the added benefit was that I didn't have to pin the fabric before sewing. I also used it when I incorporated a zipper into a knitted dress and the zipper stayed perfectly wrinkle free. Thanks to this material, I am no longer afraid of sewing knitwear. Can be washed in…

Works well: Craft

I find this tape sticks to fabric better than my Collins Wash Away tape, but then again I've had Collins for a while now. Either way, this tape sticks well to the fabric and does what I need it to do. The only problem I had was separating the two rolls of tape. There is paper between them, but it only covers the middle of the tape, making it quite difficult to separate the rolls. You need to make a bigger separator between the rolls. The only thing to note is that you cannot simply wash this…

Pros
  • Very good value

  • Annoying

First try! suitable for crafting

I usually hand bind and the size of the throw can be a pain in the hand for up to five hours. Since I make charity quilts and most of these quilts go to children, I thought machine weaving would be a good choice, but needles and clips didn't work. I just completed two quilt bindings in under 90 minutes and expect to get better with practice. The tape sticks well and can be rearranged. I made two quilts about 54" x 60" and there is still plenty left from the first roll so I'm estimating it's 22…

AVOID THIS TAPE - Two broken titanium needles

This material is extremely difficult to separate from the substrate. Sticks VERY well. You have to work in small areas or it will stick to everything around you. We used this on striped fabric to fold the raw edge over to sew onto the jacket. At first it looked like it would be great, she kept a nice crisp crease along the line of the strip and while it was a slow process to do it in small sections it seemed to work. Then we started sewing it onto the jacket. An absolute disaster. You cannot…

Don't waste money!

I used this product for one application and was very disappointed! I have been quilting for 40 years now and use my share of quilting knowledge. I saw this and thought it looked like a good product. NOT CORRECT! It's totally USELESS! It attached the appliqué shapes to the background fabric, but once I started hand sewing the details, slowly but surely, any appliqué shapes that weren't sewn on were OFF! A complete waste of time, money and effort! I do NOT recommend wasting your money! Since then
