So far so good with the headers

Don't skimp on the bottom cutouts. I did it first and the thing licked like crazy. Everything seems fine so far, no leaks.

Pros
  • So far happy
Cons
  • Appearance

I've had this haircut for less than a year.

I've had this cutout for less than a year and it won't close all the way and the switch has never turned on since day one. I will try to find a replacement. I hope Revain will send me a replacement for everything I gave them.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • too dumb

In everyday life, in any weather and still works great.

Put that on my Chev pickup. I left the original stock exhaust and installed a pipe with a loud muffler and welded on the factory muffler. The switch when closed sounds stock, when open it rumbles! Great if you're leaving the area at 4am to go to work. Then it growls on the street.

Pros
  • The best in their niche
Cons
  • The list will be long.

worked for a week at Headers & Parts

Worn for two weeks until it didn't quite open anymore. Worked great when it was. But the engine is weak. I took it apart to check. There's a hole in the end of the motor and there's a hole in the door for it. Spring-loaded ball bearings are installed around the exit opening, along which the door slides. I see scratches on both sides of the door where it sticks. Can't tell if the door bearings are too strong or if the motor isn't strong enough.

Pros
  • Normal price
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

In 2 of them the door hasn't moved.

I picked it up, did 2-3 open-close sequences and the door stopped moving. I hear the motor open and close, but the door doesn't move. Revain sent a free replacement very quickly and it seems to have worked. I've had it on my Raptor for about 2 weeks and I love it! Today the door didn't move again, although the engine is running normally. I contacted the company to see if I was missing anything. I will keep you updated and change my rating if I get a good response from you.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • not reliable

I was afraid of other designs because they looked like they might leak

I wanted to completely rule out the possibilities of this design. With a very quiet exhaust, I didn't want to hear plate leaks. I was afraid of other designs because they looked like they might leak. I had trouble gluing this design just before closing. I've also had issues with sticking if it hasn't been used for a while. I really like the design of the switch. It fits in place of the factory rocker arm. If you have a louder exhaust and don't care about the derailleur design, I would go with a

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
