🧴 Dove Moisture Shampoo Conditioner Package: Deeply Nourishing Hair Care Combo Review

I have 4C hair and this shampoo is great. It washes my hair and doesn't let it dry, and combined with the conditioner it actually started to define my curl pattern (trust me, it's big). So my 4C ladies are looking for another shampoo that isn't too expensive because it's "made for 4C hair". This is definitely a great option that I have been using for years since great success happened.

I used it for 4-6 weeks. It's okay if you switch products and only use them from time to time. Makes hair very soft. However, 24 hours after shampooing, my hair is flat, greasy and with heavy scalp build-up. Unfortunately, the shampoo is not quite suitable for washing hair.

I saw this question and answered incorrectly. One annoying feature of Dove is that the shampoo and conditioner aren't on the dispensing side of both bottles. No shampoo. turn over and shake out the shampoo. However, the air conditioner is turned on from the distributor side. Oh, this smell is terrible. I find the product itself quite pleasant. Great lather, nice soft feel on the hair when it dries but the smell of the product is just awful to me. Maybe it's just me. It's very thick, heavy, and smells a bit like burnt plastic to me. The smell of my hair gives me a headache. I just can't use it anymore. Just thought - it smells like the condensation of 10 original Dove scented moisturizing bars. I think they wanted it. But the scent is too heavy.

I love her so much! They smell amazing and my hair is so silky (I use coconut oil after using them). There is one thing to note though my hair is naturally wavy/curly so maybe not the best idea for me but they look gorgeous when my hair is straightened!

I have very thick hair and lots of it, it's very coarse and this shampoo and conditioner makes it silky smooth. I love this product.

Wow, not sure why this combination (compared to another Dove I bought) was so disappointing. I have a feeling my well water may have played a role in this as my hair became very dry after using it. I've been trying this for a few days but have come to the conclusion that it won't work for me. It has a classic Dove scent that I find attractive.
