Excellent for kitchen and bathroom plumbing

Inexpensive, easy to install. No performance issues. Use this on my 6-state RO-DI system for my saltwater aquarium. A good membrane is the first step in building a reliable RO-DI system. Would definitely buy this again.

High Flow Reverse Osmosis Membrane

I replaced the 50GPD RO membrane with a 100GPD membrane so the RO water was generated faster which increased the well pump has been interrupted. I have a Grundfos demand pump that delivers water according to intake. Every morning we use over a gallon of reverse osmosis water to brew coffee and fill water bottles. A 50 gal/d reverse osmosis membrane causes the well pump to cycle on and off every minute for about an hour. A 100 GPD membrane reduces the pump cycle to about 1/2 hour. Great water…

Don't reduce the ppm too much

I only bought this a month ago and since then the TDS ppm meter has consistently climbed higher than my previous 50 gpd membrane which I've been using it for 5 years now. and the TDS ppm of the old membrane at 150 seconds was lower than that of this membrane which is 200 ppm. I then changed all the other filters as well, hoping that the PPM (tap water in the city is around 300ppm) would drop significantly, but NOT quite. I thought some reviews rated it high and it's made in the USA not China so

High Flow Reverse Osmosis Membrane

I replaced a 50GPD RO membrane with a 100GPD membrane to produce RO water faster and give my well pump a break. Great water and quick recovery. (Requires new…

Less scrap than the old

I am very disappointed with this diaphragm. It has a lower bounce rate than the one I replaced it with. I've been taking readings for more than 2 months and they haven't improved even after the membrane was fully saturated. Dry membranes take time to fully hydrate. I'm a former RO industry leader and have used a very accurate TDS meter. I have monitored the water quality, it has improved by no more than 91%. I'm not sure if this high scrap rate membrane is a Dow/Filtec manufacturing issue or a…

Doesn't reduce many ppm
