Excellent inexpensive level

Excellent inexpensive level. It is easy to read and has a magnetic end for metal surfaces. I've dropped it a few times and it hasn't broken so its durability seems good.

Not for construction, suitable for home

My husband got it for iron work. He said it wasn't strong enough and kept falling. He bought a stronger one from a home store and is happy with it. Maybe it works for simple homework. But not for construction.

Magnetic Level for Measuring and Marking Tools

I ordered this to stop my husband from "borrowing" my neon green level from my toolbox at home (try hanging art without a level and start making yelling at my husband to find out what did he do with it). He loves this level and he likes the idea of a magnetic stripe to keep the level fast. It appears legible and quite heavy, it feels like a "male" instrument - whatever that means (probably because it's not neon green).

The magnet function is not very good.

If you don't want to use it on bare metal, look elsewhere. Tycoons are weak and not very affectionate. Bought two of these for 2 inch square powder coated pool fence posts. If I hit the pole, the magnet weakens and they fall.

Magnetic spirit level best of spirit levels
