The older kitty says don't be suspicious and use the product!

My elderly cat often wrinkled his nose at this, but I caught her on camera when we weren't home. The sneaky little devil walked up to him, looked around for any suspicious activity and scratched out his little heart! She hasn't used furniture or doors to scratch since we got this, so I'd say it's a win. Maybe she's just shy and prefers to itch alone.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • I have no aversion to it, everything is fine

Durable but won't stay grounded when scratched.

As another reviewer said, when my cats scratch it, it ends up on their heads. Their claws sometimes get stuck and they pull it straight up. I even used velcro to hold it in place and it still came loose and popped out when they scratched. However, it's very durable, I just wish it would actually stay put on the ground, but cats love it anyway. Sometimes they even sleep on it!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Cats like beds and furniture best

The cats liked these blankets. I bought 6. However, 3 of them fall apart at the edges. Once the thread comes loose you know the cat is going to rip it, so I don't expect it to last too long. The product also has a strong rubber odor, probably due to the non-slip backing. These rugs are so small that cats will turn them over and scratch the backing, which I think will resolve over time. I'd rather use this to not watermark and promote this more to wrap the post.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Cats love it and it holds up well.

My cats like it. I bought this product to hide the area where my kitten tore the carpet. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it shows no real signs of wear so I think it will last a while. It covers the area and keeps my kitty from tearing the carpet further. It slips out of range a little, but not by much. I think this is because I have two types of surfaces. I don't like the brown frame, but that's just my personal preference. It sounds like they're tearing up the carpet and I want to…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions

The cat loves it! on a scratching post

My cat could hardly contain himself as he waited for me to unfold him, he seemed to know automatically that it was for him. He immediately started scratching. The rug is small, but corresponds to the description. The reason I took off a star is because the support they describe for holding doesn't work. When my cat scratches him, the mat pulls up and he turns it over, or it sticks to his claw and turns back over. Every time he uses it, he lands on his head. Even though he loves the product, I…

The kittens loved her. So I was worried if I would do it.

Several reviews mentioned that their cats don't want to use this scratching post. I used another type that I bought at Wally World for $19. I had to buy several of these in a row as they don't do well when damp or wet and that was my fault. The kittens loved her. So I was worried about spending my money on it. I shouldn't have worried. I put it next to her food bowl. One kitten eats, the other either sharpens its claws or just sits on it and waits for its turn at the food bowl. These kittens…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I used it to repair our cat's old scratching post. Works perfectly!

The sisal on our cat's old scratching post has deteriorated so much over time that our cat's claws sometimes get caught in loose fabric. Unfortunately, our cat doesn't like rope-covered scratching posts and there aren't that many good options that are covered with sisal. Also, the bar itself was still in good condition, so we decided to repair it rather than replace it. However, it is next to impossible to find a reasonably strong sisal fabric substitute. When I saw this rug and realized that…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
