Wow, reading what you wrote I thought you were aware. However, you cannot change the entire mechanics of an aquarium to give one part a bad finish and you are probably not used to it due to the size of most pumps. It must match the pump hose. I assume you sell them together to get everyone's attention on the price because that's the only way you can sell those bad 1 inch tine parts. The barb must not be larger than the hose.

I ordered three sets: 3-3/4" and 3-1". I was missing one of the 3/4" pieces when it arrived. 3/4" works well. A 1" nut just slides straight up the threads for 2 or 3 on the first try and skips over them like they already are been ripped off. I put a large piece of teflon tape on the threads and one worked well enough. to make a gasket. Others would never let me put it on. Tolerances weren't at least 1/16th if not more. Very dissatisfied with this product.

I was looking for an additional 1" x 1.25" barbed overflow like the one in the Aqueon set, I tell you it's nothing else. First I noticed that the quality of the cut was much worse and some glue was dripping around, I also noticed that the gasket was crumpled and flimsy. When I attached it I was very angry to see that the threads had snapped! I had to change the whole game plan at the last minute so I could get the tank working again, which was very frustrating. Low quality rubbish!
