Lisle 41500 Pickle Fork Kit: Efficient Automotive Tool for Ball Joint Separation Review

I needed to remove a drawbar on my tractor and needed a pickle fork for my air hammer that was at least 1 inch wide. It was perfect for the job.

Great for disassembling ball joints, have not used an air hammer attachment before but did not damage the shoes I have worked with with a regular hammer attachment. Just make sure they are screwed all the way in so the threads don't get tangled.

This set is perfect. I like that I can swap out the striker and air hammer handle. This set is basically like 6 different pickle forks. The quality is very good and I'm sure they will last a long time with proper use. I have many other Lisle tools and you really can't go wrong with them.

As a mechanic I know how extremely handy they are for almost any suspension related repair and Lisle has never let me down after purchasing this set after it was recommended to me by a colleague, i was very disappointed that it broke after only a few weeks of use, honestly they have seen a lot of use but still i expected more from lisle.

After buying and returning the GRIP set I ordered these. Doesn't matter. This day and night set is better than others. The handles are just being screwed in, most of the casting marks have been sanded off and the air hammer handle really sits as it should. It costs money to get this kit instead of another.
