It works but doesn't look good.

Like the others, my trailer hitch has deteriorated. I would say it is needed. Parts of the hitch are missing (looks like someone has driven the trailer a couple of times) and it's already rusted in those places. You can use my good adjustable tow hitch.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Difficult to answer

I've had one like this for a few months, I just towed a light trailer, everything is fine. The only problem is that I need about 6 inches more drops. But I don't want to jump from $30 to $500. I want them to do a 14-16 inch drop. But yes, I would recommend it for one simple thing.

Pros
  • practical thing
Cons
  • little things

Damaged but working

Excellent value for money. The only real complaint is that upon pulling the bubble wrapped item out of the box I noticed that the product was damaged. I have added photos to this review to explain better. Lots of scuffs, dents and scratches in various places throughout the product. I had high hopes that this would be brand new as advertised, but it will work for my purposes. Not recommended for aesthetic reasons.

  • Free for educational purposes

Highly recommended for aerial platforms/off-road vehicles.

The coupling is ideal for lifting platforms. My Nissan hardbody has a 10 inch lift and I'm trying to tow a custom trailer I built from a stock hardbody platform that is much lower to the ground than my truck. Earth. I originally used a 6" hitch and the trailer had an odd angle that pushed the load towards the rear of the trailer (which again is a hazard as it reduces the weight of the tongue).
