I bought this changing table for my small children's room at home. Unfortunately, most of the children I look after weigh just over 20 pounds. This table says the max weight is 30lbs but I assure you this table will break if you put a 30lb kid on it. Unfortunately I can only use it for a couple of weeks. I used the Summer Infant Countoured changing pad over the thin "changing pad" that comes with this diaper pad, which is thinner than a pancake. I didn't buy this to swaddle, so it doesn't affect my rating of the table itself. As mentioned in other comments, the shelves are very thin. Good value for money. I wish the board that the shelves are made of was sturdier, they should just use the same wood for the entire changing table. One of the brackets wasn't bent properly during manufacture, so one of my shelves isn't strong enough. You get two supports for the top shelf where your child will be and only one for the other two shelves. It was very easy to put together. Took me about 20 minutes total and used a hand screwdriver which is why it took so long. The open shelves underneath are great and offer plenty of storage space. You can easily place baskets underneath to make it look more organized.
