🪓 Dremel 454 Grinding Stone Multipack Review

I've been sharpening my own chains for a few years now and find it pretty easy. I usually can't remember the right steps year after year, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to watch.

I have to say I was worried that they would not fit my new chains. Dremel products stand by their word and prove it again. It's worth every penny to me when I see how well they work, how fast they cut and how clean they grind.

I love these little stones. I've tried several methods of sharpening my chains and I still use two of these, but I work hard with my tools and if they get really dull or I hit something I shouldn't, they'll save the day. Easy to use but they don't last forever. I get 2-3 good deep chain sharpenings from one.

I use them on my STIHL MS250 before going to the tree. My chains last a lot longer because I no longer pay someone to chip off half my teeth every time. And they are sharper. Saves so much time. You don't have to remove the chain from the bar. Just tap each tooth and you'll be cutting in five minutes.

Ideal for sharpening chainsaws quickly. I agree with other reviewers that there is no need to remove the chain and wear a fancy outfit to get the perfect angle. Simply place this sharpening stone on your Dremel and sharpen directly on the chainsaw, checking the angle by eye. I used to do this with a file, but it's much quicker and more thorough. Considering how often you have to sharpen, it saves a lot of time.

Easy to use - EVERYONE has a motor like a Dremel! You can sharpen the chain in 3 minutes - it will be like new. I've lost more of these stones than I've worn - note - if using a rotary tool, move the stone back and forth to wear the stone evenly. good product. I will ALWAYS buy DREMEL brand bricks. Cheap stones (once bought in "Everything from China" store - stones break quickly)
