I thought it was a radius bit

Leaves a distinct shoulder where the pilot is riding on a vertical surface. Somehow it loses its purpose. Especially if I round the hole. hard to smooth id

Got a job for a new carpenter

I should probably get a proper router but it worked well enough to cut the 3.2" letters I need for a friend's wedding cut out of plywood. I don't know how long it should last, but the problems started in the 3rd part.

Fits Milling Parts and Accessories

Required for 1/8" rounding on 32" MDF. I used this attachment from the front edge of a Dremel router. I made a few test cuts to get the right depth. Worked well and left a clean edge. Eventually I'll get a proper router, but that was the more economical option.

1 or 2 uses on power tools and hand tools

As others have written the bit is good for a use or 2 before becoming dull. This worked for what I needed, I just wish it stayed sharper for more work. I used it to fillet some small holes in a maple board. Once it started to dull it left chips and rough edges. I was thinking about buying another one but will wait until I need it. I really think it's a one-time thing.

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Some bugs

Ideal for small projects

The project I bought this for was probably a lot bigger than this drill was intended for. It works great in those small projects or as a last resort when you can't afford a full-size router. This rounding makes for a nice smooth edge that doesn't chip like plywood and I'm very happy with the results. It's much more difficult to get an evenly rounded edge with a wood rasp. However, this bit is not designed for larger projects such as B. the 46" round plywood countertop I bought this bit for. The
