What did I pay $30 for?

Bought because they fit my Dremel. Wow what a waste of money. Get cheap fakes. If there was quality, I would take it. But that's not the case. Pure garbage.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Buy a real router and router bit for hardwood.

Drill bits are not suitable for hardwoods such as oak or maple. No matter how fast or how slow they just start smoking wood. Even with the cutting table extension, the cuts were very uneven. Softwood is ok

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Get what I ordered - Straight

So I open the packet of bits to examine them and all of a sudden I realize I don't have the 617 bit and I'm really not sure what the top three are actually 612 and 615, since there is no marking on the packaging or on the bit. The two blades look the same and I would only know that if I ran them over a piece of wood. upset

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Negative present

Good router Set best in router bits

I used three of the tools from the Dremel Tool Plunge Router Kit and was amazed at how well these routers worked on the soft jaw I was working with. The drill bits are not carbide, so expect them to dull quickly when working in hardwoods. They cannot route as fast as a large 1HP router. or more powerful, but for a small hobby these are excellent. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

It feels like something is missing

The packaging is kind of boring and superfluous that you need to order a V-shaped nozzle separately, and also that the keyhole nozzle is not made anymore is also a bit disappointing, I haven't used any of the rounding tips except for a little test, but it looks like they work.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Feels like something is missing

The packaging is a little bland and redundant, the fact that you have to order the cutter head separately sucks and the fact that they don't keyhole the cutter head anymore. A little disappointed, I haven't used any of the rounding tips except for a little test, but they seem to work.

Pros
  • Cutter
Cons
  • Requires a socket

Hello, it works! for cutter parts and accessories

works like magic. the next best thing to a real router. It is only 1/4 inch in diameter. So keep that in mind when considering this for a project you are planning. I used it to make a circular indentation to fit the speaker magnet in a box that was too small. It worked but took a little longer than if I had used a real router but the box was already installed in the wall and a full size router wouldn't fit. Dremel and this cutter did a great job.

Pros
  • cutter parts and accessories
Cons
  • slightly dented

A bit pricey and should hold more bits but they work

They fit well and work as expected. Problems arise when using a Dremel as a router. Sometimes the beats will kick in, but usually if you take your time, don't mess up your work and kick it off your desk. If you use a real router, the bits are MUCH cheaper and work MUCH better. These bits are not carbide and will depreciate in value. Kinda cool for five bits. I got about 20 for $20 at a Lowe's sale and a few months later I got a 150 from Blue Hawk for the same price. My recommendation? Be…

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
