Disappointing Performance from Industrial Drill Bit

Based on my observations, this drill bit did not live up to its expectations in terms of durability and effectiveness. While the initial use was promising, the bit quickly lost its sharpness, resulting in slower drilling and increased wear and tear on the bit itself. The bit may be suitable for occasional use, but for more intensive industrial and scientific purposes, I would recommend seeking out a more reliable alternative.

Pros
  • Initial drilling performance
Cons
  • Rapid dullness and wear

Not like the picture but serves it's purpose.

I have bought this drill several times. The reason for the 3 stars is that the price of the bit is just "normal" BUT mainly because the bit is not as pictured. It looks more like a shovel. It does its job and cuts the right size holes in the steels I use it on.

Pros
  • Also called "hole drill"
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Pierce porcelain stoneware like it's not there

Expensive, but worth every penny. Before I received this drill, I spent 40 minutes on other useless "diamond" suction guide drills etc sold by DRILAX and I had to return it because it broke in half in the hole. This drill went through porcelain tile like warm butter in 4 holes in just 10 minutes including drilling out a stuck drill. In summary, this product is great and I believe it is made in the USA.

Pros
  • Run the drill through at 75 to 100 feet of surface area per minute at steady hand feed
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
