Incorrect product description. Incomplete article

WARNING. Mine had a manufacturing defect. There are only 2, not 3 panels for bits. For bit sizes from 13/32 to 1/2 there is no 3rd panel. Follow-up: Contacting the manufacturer was futile. I had to speak to Revain customer service. I got a loan straight away.

Pros
  • High marks for tester support and durability
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not big enough for most of my regular drill bits

Most of my drill bits won't fit even after I rip out the foam pad. I have nothing out of the ordinary. Just typical pieces from the local hardware store. After a second look I saw that the product I received did not match the picture. I have a foam block at the top and each row has a step in the middle. I guess what I got was for jobber drills.

  • Permanent test results

Works for hex bits with a little tweaking.

I have this for hex shank bits. The small ones didn't fit at first, but you can loosen the holder furthest to the back and replace it with the lower attachment points. To do this, I "pry open" some space with a large screwdriver. Not difficult, not screwed up, now all my hexes fit. Well, except for 2, because between the 4 smallest slots there is only room for two of them.

  • Hands Free

  • Obsolete

What you see is what you get

This is a sturdy box for storing small items, but nothing more. There are too many big spots for my needs, I have 3 drills between the top 2 tiers, but there seems to be few options for this kind of thing. Why can't I find an organizer that also has "extras" ready so I can grab my drill and box and go? There's a place for every size here, although many bits are sold in 2-packs. I like to have the standard little extras on hand in case they break. In addition, there is no storage space for…

Great replacement for my Milwaukee case

I received a set of cobalt drill bits from Milwaukee, but the case Milwaukee gave me was missing an important feature - independent movement of the rows of bits. The Milwaukee case has two sides with a plastic piece that holds two rows of bits. If you wanted a little forward you risked skinning the joint when you tried to pull it out (which I did). This index is reminiscent of my dad's old drills with rows that move individually so I can safely and accurately pull out the right drill. It's…

Good product. Case for the quality-conscious

My first case for drills was bought in the 1970s. It was pretty good. It was thick metal and I thought it would last forever but it didn't. The hinge broke and over time more broke. Since then, every case has been pretty lousy in one way or another. Snapping the bits into the plastic clips was a little awkward, or the case material was too thin, or there were large clearances in front or behind the case, and so on and so forth. But not in this case. This case is better than my first premium…

Drill index

Just received mine last night, sterilized overnight (due to Covid19). It was what I was looking for, cheap ($10) and made in America. It does 1/16" to 1/2" in 64 steps. Weak at first but once I put the drills in it tightens up nicely. Although I didn't add 64's. I had all 3 racks in the kit. I wish the racks were respected, but that's fine. I replaced my American made drill bits and sleeves with these because mine weren't as strong; that is, it had open windows instead of plastic ones. I will…

Reliable, easy to use, stays closed in tool bag

I like the construction, it's solid and stays closed. I've had no problems with loose or loose bits in the box, although many x/64 slots are empty. The only design feature I really dislike is that the larger bits are in front of the smaller ones. This means I have to fold down the large and medium bits to see and access the smaller ones. I would have preferred the smaller ones to be in front as I could see the larger ones through them. However, this is a minor point. The only other problem is…
