Solid carbide tools offer long tool life and faster cutting speeds than other substrates, but are more brittle and must be used with rigid toolholding systems. Available in polished finish. Hex shanks have six flats on their sides to reduce slippage when working in high-torque applications. When run in a counterclockwise direction (right-hand cut) spiral fluted tools evacuate chips up and out of the cut to reduce clogging. 2 Flute double end stub.

Efficient Milling with MMO1 4 2FDE

This product is a must-have for any industrial and scientific workshop. The polished finish of the flutes ensures that the tool lasts longer and cuts cleaner, resulting in a smoother end product. The cutting edges are sharp and produce excellent results consistently. The only downside is that it can be a little pricey when compared to other milling accessories in the market.

Awesome end mill for cutting tools

Wow what an end mill! I have about 30 minutes to cut full depth grooves in 3/16 inch brass. It's well balanced (in terms of cut, not to mention weight), removes chips well and is still sharp. I will update the review if I notice premature wear. I have many hours of editing to figure it out. At the moment I am planning to order more. End mill performance is still good. Good results with this end mill

Received this end mill from USPS on Sunday as promised. My goal was to cut a slot .375 wide and .375 deep in a piece of cold rolled 1 inch round bar. This was for a blade guide bracket on an antique Delta band saw. Rong Fu) for the mechanical part of this project.
