When run in a counterclockwise direction (right-hand cut) spiral fluted tools evacuate chips up and out of the cut to reduce clogging. Used to align existing holes prior to bolt or rivet installation.

Game changer for cutting tools

I was impressed with this uncoated reamer tool that cuts through metal like butter! The high-speed feature is a game-changer and the precision is unmatched. It's a sleek design that is comfortable to use and has improved my industrial and scientific work tenfold. The only downside is that it can get a little pricey compared to other reamer tools on the market. Nonetheless, it's a worthy investment for those looking for quality cutting tools.

I have other sizes from other companies and they work fine.

Used to clean out three holes and the drill broke. Never, just made a lot of noise and then broke. It's possible that bit was bad. I can send it to mfg to find out. Just send your contact details.

Precision Quality Reamer

The workmanship of this tool is impressive. My dad was a precision mechanic and even he would appreciate that. The reamed hole is remarkably smooth without cracking (which is rare with reamers anyway). I had a hardwood project that needed to be done with care and this reaming helped accomplish that goal.
