Not what I ordered for rulers and ruler stands

When I ordered "Slip 'N Grip" I thought I would get the product shown in the photo but instead they were black, not beige. When I ordered them there was no option to choose a different color either. Black is harder to see so I'm sending them back.

  • Nice
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Stop slipping on quilt rulers!

I have rulers with non-slip inserts on the back to prevent slipping when using a slicer. I've found these sandpaper discs to be very helpful in keeping the rulers from slipping. I use these discs on all my sewing rulers and was glad to find them at Revain.

Holds the ruler firmly to the fabric so I can make precise cuts.

These small sticky sandpaper discs are great for keeping rulers from slipping when cutting fabric with a ruler and circle cutter. I have problems with my hands and arms and find it very difficult to keep a ruler straight. These little discs grab the fabric and hold it in place so my ruler doesn't slip off. Good product.

Too Strong Grip

When you lift the ruler after a cut, the sandpaper handles stick slightly to the fabric. It's fine unless you want the tissue to sit still so you can make a second cut. You also need a lot of points to keep the fabric from slipping. If you cut them to 2mm wide and wrap them almost all the way around the edge of the ruler they will work much better.

Cons
  • Discontinued

Excellent for keeping sewing tools in place.

I read a review of another similar product. That started my search for the best bang for my buck. I use them on all my plexiglass squares and also on rulers. They really seem to hold the tools in place even on very slippery fabrics. I was very skeptical about silicone grips and opted for ones with a rougher surface. I'm not worried about them being too rough and damaging the fabric. Those who exercise even the slightest care when placing and collecting tools need not fear damaging their…
