Should be more - sewing

The needle threader fits in the handle of this little magnifying glass. Easily lost. Everything is too small

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Almost never

Totally too expensive.

I bought these because of the Dritz name and the usual quality. The quality is poor at best. More money doesn't mean better quality. Very dissatisfied and returned late.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Crumpled

It's ok but after a few uses the needle threader fell out of the blue base and I have to glue it on the back. It's a smart concept, but it doesn't quite work the way I was hoping. You should have a pincushion with you to stick the needle into. Then hold the magnifying glass in one hand and the thread in the other hand. I was hoping I could use a sewing machine needle, but not quite for it. It's good to have a magnifying glass though, it helps me thread the needles.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • It worries me

No quality or design Dritz

For years I have had Dritz products that were well made but they are not. The magnifying glass (actually plastic) arrived scratched and with thumb marks from factory workers (!). The threaded end does not fit or engage the handle when removed from the handle. As a result of this poor design, a tiny blue protrusion is left that is even smaller than traditional metal "coins". I ended up permanently gluing it to the magnifying glass's handle so I had something to grip. Dritz has a say if I don't…

Complete Failure "Create the Best Mousetrap "

Don't waste your money. This is a two piece needle threader, not a needle threader attached to a magnifying glass. The needle threader unscrews from the magnifying glass handle. The actual base of the threader is round and about the size of dried beans. So instead of holding the needle still in one hand and using a needle threader with a magnifying glass to see what you're doing, hold the magnifying glass in one hand and the small needle threader in the other and try to thread. a needle…

Does what it's supposed to do

I have one of these and just ordered a second one so I have two on hand. It works like any other needle threader. It also breaks if you try to thread too thick a thread through a small eyed needle, which isn't the fault of the needle threader, it's choosing a needle that's too small for your thread. The plastic tube protects the cable when not in use. But what I really like is the magnifying glass. It's not super magnification, but it's enough to see the eye of a needle, which is becoming…
