Can't beat this price!

Exactly what I get at my local fabric store for a small price! Brilliant! It's so easy to hem sun skirts with it!

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Will do

Worth the cost of ties

A whole box priced two yards at your local fabric store. The seamstress used it on my daughter's wedding dress and held the hem in place without the large crinoline petticoat.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other kits

Grand Prize

Just right for punching the hem of my daughter's Renaissance dress. The price was way better than the local fabric store wanted and was the perfect length. Easy to get in.

Pros
  • Horsehair Braid Washable and dry clean
Cons
  • Grand Prize

I had to change my wedding dress for July.

I had to alter my wedding dress for a wedding in July. You can't buy something like that in the country where I live. It was perfect, just as I remembered it recreating my wedding in the Vogue Shoppe in the late '60s.

Pros
  • Horsehair border stiffens hem edges; Adds stiffness and support to the hem
Cons
  • Crumpled

Helped to mend the wedding dress, oh-oh-oh!

I bought this to use on the hem of my sister-in-law's wedding dress I'm making right now. It was perfect for my satin layer which, after putting on her newfound wedding shoes, became too short for a proper hemline. I used this around the edge to give me some extra wiggle room and it worked great! Next time I'd probably go a little wider, like an inch or so, but other than that it worked great!

Pros
  • Ideal for wedding and formal dresses; 100% Polyester
Cons
  • I'll write later
