I have a Paff 230 sewing machine. The old bulb got very hot with prolonged use. I was afraid that I would burn myself on it. I saw this lightbulb and thought why don't you try it. So glad I did! Very comfortable to use and doesn't get hot!

This bright bulb was a big improvement over the original bulb that came with my sewing machine. If your eyes are getting old and tired, upgrading to white LED light is the way to go. Worked well as a replacement for my Viking machine. You should remove your old bulb to see what type you need before buying this to ensure you don't need a screw type.

Bulb bought 1/2020, fitted and tested the light and it worked. I haven't sewn it yet, I don't know how long it will last. This is the first time I've changed a lightbulb in this car and I couldn't find anything anywhere on the internet (or in the small 4 page quick guide that came with the car) that indicates which lightbulb it should be replaced. buy a replacement. I rolled the dice and so far it looks like a win.

I know quality control isn't what it was decades ago, but what can I do about it? I was at a fabric store looking for a light bulb for a sewing machine and the glass was completely discolored and opaque so I decided to order it from Revain. The photo of the product shows a transparent bulb, but in fact this is the photo I received. I'm surprised Revain posted it and didn't notice the problem. I can't believe this bulb made it into the box at the factory and would be considered a top quality…
