🔋 High-quality DROK 090551 Red LED Panel Display Digital Voltmeter for Automotive Battery Monitoring and Voltage Measurement Review

I put this behind the red lens on my car's dummy headlight. It's so nice to have accurate instantaneous readings of my battery to monitor the charging system.

Works well on my electric skateboards! Red and Black are connected to my UBEC (12V) and White is connected to a common ground battery going back to the original black wire. The readings are small and maybe not very accurate, but they give me an idea of the overall voltage level. The screen shows the installation of a 12S Lipo battery (4 3S batteries connected in series).

Overall crappy design. Unused screw holes need to be enlarged even for a #2 machine screw. 28 (?) AWG wire is pretty brittle. My first one broke after about 3 minutes of use. I'm trying the second one just in case the error is due to an accident. The seller constantly spams me after the sale, asks for feedback and positive feedback.

(yet). I cheated and just connected the red and white wires together since I only need to control the voltage when it's there. The display doesn't always have to be on. Measured within 0.1 volts by a pair of multimeters I have, so it's pretty close. The "customize" on the back didn't seem to work and I didn't want to mess it up by scrolling. Pretty good, reasonable price. But dude, is it about an inch wide and a half inch high? Tiny. Although perfect if you want it.

I bought several of these. I burned one from letting the battery contact touch the circuit board. my fault Worked great until I did it. I put one on my tractor and it blew out. My fault again. I found out that my alternator is defective. Be careful not to make these mistakes that I made and I think you will be happy with that. The displays are bright and easy to see. I bought this for use in a car dashboard to monitor car voltage in real time. It works great, updating several times per second according to fluctuations in the car's electrical system. I can turn on the headlights, air conditioning, etc. and see how much power each of them is putting into the system. Unfortunately during installation I used thin needle nose pliers to turn the tiny calibration knob on the back. This knob is there to be able to adjust the accuracy of the device I believe. But…
