The light is very beautiful, bright, light (not heavy). However, one worked and the other flickered, so 50/50 on this one. Also, get real wire nuts, and if you don't currently have a round ceiling box with long screws, get some real wall anchors (like plastic screws). The supplied accessories should simply be disposed of. Once you get over that, they're beautiful. Still have to send one back and reinstall.

Bought a kitchen lamp to illuminate the stove and counter. There is a lot of light which is great. It came with screws that matched the electrical box. I couldn't use them as I have a thick stucco ceiling and they were a bit short. I was a bit disappointed with the cable. First, not copper. Second, thin strands. The electrical connectors that came with the device were designed for thin wire, but too small to connect the device's wires to the house's wires.

I buy and install in my house lights of different brands that are very similar to these. Compared to others these are really good bright lights for the money and seem to show a nice even ring of light. I installed 2 of these in a small work space upstairs and it was a huge improvement over the previous fluorescent lighting. The only thing that confuses me (small) is that the wires weren't pre-stripped. All other brands I've worked with have pre-stripped wires that come ready to use, saving time

Received this to replace our main kitchen lamp. Our kitchen doesn't get much natural light or ambient light from the rest of the house. Therefore, the presence of bright light is very important. This light is actually slightly brighter than our old light that used two 100 watt (equivalent) bulbs. We are very satisfied with the light intensity! This light is not compatible with the standard overhead control box. The screws in the ceiling box did not match the holes in the light. There was also no adapter plate in the light to compensate for the mismatch. I need to hire an electrician to try and do what should be a very easy job. The light output seems to be excellent.
