I would say it's a mediocre product. Of all the low budget camera sliders, this is probably the best quality/quantity ratio. The arm is solid aluminum and it wasn't until I put pink buttocks on it that I could actually get it to flex, unlike other cheap sliders that only flex under their own weight. Please note that you need a little work for the installation. The holes in the rails are drilled but not tapped. You must use a 3/8"-16 tap to mount it on a regular tripod (you unscrew and screw on the tripod head if your head doesn't have a 3/8" mount). You also need to create a camera mount. I use it with GH2. The Manfrotto 501 HDV mounted on the slider, the tripod attached under the rails and the system works great for both slider movement and panning. Tilt is a minor issue. When I try to lean up, the friction on the back rail increases, and when I lean down, there is pressure on the front rail.
