I bought these nice little stem covers shortly after getting my new SUV. Now 7 months later I am sitting in the dealers waiting area to get my snow tires off (I thought!) and all-seasons on. I have just been informed that the stem covers have seized onto stem and service dept. is afraid it will break the valve stems. So NOW I will be driving back home in my studded winter tires because these things are stuck on! Not happy!You buy these things, they may be on to stay.I so regret this purchase!

Just like they said I do recommend putting a little grease on the valve stem or threads or in the cap itself. That's my review.

I installed these valve stem covers last spring and I when I recently went to add air to my tires I realized that all the covers totally corroded sealed themselves onto the valve stems. Was able to get a couple of them off woth vice grips / pliers. Just be aware that once you install you may not be able to get them back off.

These tire stem valve caps are a great quality for a great price. They arrived quick and I was surprised at the packaging, which was a place to store the extras and then say the ones that you swapped out.If you’re debating between these and some solid color valve caps, I recommend these!

Valve stem is corroding after having this on for a few months. Will contact the dealer and get quality stock replacements. I don't want to have to replace valve stems on a new Honda.

As the title says, the black wore off and has turned to a bronze color. Still a good piece and does it’s job, just wished it stayed the color that I wanted.

Love these things. Didn't think people would really notice them since they're so small, but a whole set was already stolen off my truck, so I know they be cool. Luckily I got 3 sets! Maybe I'll get to enjoy them more than someone else.

I put these on, and approx 3 months later, I had a low tire. I went to put in air, and could not get the cap off again. It has rusted onto the valve stem. I checked the others as well. Same thing. All stuck on. We got three of them off at the tire store with lubricant, but had to remove tire and replace valve stem on one of them. Do not buy these. They will stick onto your valve stem and you will not be able to get them off.

Would be nice if they covered all the copper on the stem. To short for a truck tire. Had to gives stars but I say zero if they don’t cover stem

Do not buy these or any other metal valve caps because they will corrode, and you won't be able to get them off. I used a vice grip on the stem and a 10mm socket on the cap and still couldn't get any of the 4 to budge. I ended up having to use a hacksaw to cut them off because they all corroded (the white stuff on the inside threads in the pictures). Luckily this wasn't an emergency so I had the time and tools to remove them. Save yourself the headache, please.

Very nice. That's my review. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and the little box that they came in is worth what I payed.

While I was issued a partial refund, one of the caps didn't have the hole drilled into it so instead of being able to place these on all 3 cars, I was able to do 2 and now have 3 "spares". They do look good and I'm happy with them overall.

First, I like the look of the caps.But, after being on after about one month, the set screws began rusting. I will have to apply oil periodically to make sure that they don't get stuck.Plus, the set pins are not easy to remove; it is difficult to find the Allen wrench slot. If they need to me removed at night or in inclement weather, it could be extremely difficult and frustrating,When I replace these I will likely get one without the locking set pins.

Perfect fit on my Ford truck. Seals the stem and looks great. Plus I have several extra for when the tire shops "lose” them. And they carrying case allows me to store the extras conveniently.
