Great upgrade. about cycling

My aluminum hub was jagged and the cassette was difficult to remove. This steel version is 30 grams heavier, but having steel is worth it for those who need to expend a lot of watts to get uphill.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Little repairability

A REAL STEEL REPLACEMENT.-

I have a 240 hub with an aluminum part. Over the years of continuous service, the part wore out and had to be replaced. If your goal is to make the rear wheel as light as possible this isn't for you, look for an aluminum original but if you need durability this is what you need.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Fits

Worth the weight saving

The original aluminum body is 62 grams lighter, but as other reviewers have pointed out, the aluminum serrations are short-lived, even when the cassette is properly tightened. Too bad they can't find a solution that's both lightweight and durable, but I prefer all-day durability to light weight.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive price

That's cool. for sport

I've never been a fan of aluminum freewheel housings because I've seen many of them die with teeth. This is an excellent solution. Thanks to DT's smart design, it takes about a minute or so to swap out a FreeHub case with no tools to worry about.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Crumpled

Great item that should have come with the hub to start with

+1 with positive reviews here. Same story, cracked aluminum disc cases have been replaced with steel cases and performance is now as it should have always been. DT Swiss needs to sell their STEEL-bodied 240s and 350s as stock to offer a lighter aftermarket option. A $350 jack that breaks literally within the first hour of use is NOT OK.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Compatibility

Correct freewheel for working with Shimano XT 11-speed cassette.

This is the correct hub for a Shimano XT 11 speed cassette with a DT Swiss 350 hub If you use DT hubs you also need to buy the correct end caps for your application, they are not contain. Terms and Conditions and will be installed at the same time as FreeHub.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Some small things

Works perfectly! for cassettes and freewheels

This clutch housing is a direct replacement for the standard aluminum DT 350 clutch housing; fits its size perfectly. I use several of these and for my most recent purchase I'm using it on a SRAM GX 11-spd setup with a Sunrace 11-42T cluster. Fits perfectly. I also switched to a 32T internal ratchet and had no problems. The little pouch this part arrives in appears to be the genuine DT Swiss label which I have seen on others I have purchased through other channels.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative impression

Works as a replacement for the DT Swiss 240 hub shell

The DT Swiss 240 hub shell on my road bike was aluminum and therefore the Shimano 9/10 cassette (6700 series) was constantly splined. This created a slight wobble, which in turn produced a noticeable rumble when driving over bumpy roads. It also made my shifting less precise. After some experience grinding the clutch's splines to remove the damaged metal, I read about this steel clutch housing and decided to give it a try. Now I ride it for about a month and 1000 miles like a perfect…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged
