I had several different types of mustache wax and bought this based on a recommendation. Unfortunately, it didn't affect my naughty mustache. The product breaks down very easily, but once applied it lasts on me about as much as a beard balm or oil. Adding more product only added white spots to my dark mustache, but didn't increase the hold in any meaningful way. This might work if you have a light mustache and it lies well on its own.

I have a fairly stiff mustache and I can hold it up well for 8 hours. Surprisingly, he kept curls all night before. Smells good and the can is great too. Finally, the water solubility makes showering really easy. A bit pricey at $20 so it loses one star but overall I recommend it.

The best I've ever tried, its hold and styling is amazing 😀 If you use too much it will leave a visible residue but can be wiped off or smoothed out. Works best when warmed up a bit, which is great. I get a lot of "cool mustache" compliments. Not sure if I can compete with professional stashes, but best for everyday use.

I use it more to groom my mustache than to hold it. "Solid" fixation is not strong, very light weight does not hold anything. Smells good, but as I said, nothing lasts. I recommend WAXNDUSTRIES mustache wax made in England, very strong hold.

This product does not have the secure attachment that I would like. To me, a "hard" grip means that it dries out severely, or at least dries out to the point of inflexibility. This product has kept my mustache in good condition but not very good. It was waxy but not super strong hold. Even when combined with a firming cream, it never fully set and my mustache fell apart after a few hours. I'm doing a full circle curl, so I need a very strong hold. I cannot recommend Dubs Mustache Cream highly enough. That's great. Easiest application I've ever used and lasts like a Sonovagan! However, it doesn't feel like cement and never dries out. You can change your hairstyle even after a few hours without adding wax. I put it on last Thursday, worked all night, slept all day, then put on an art show Friday night and my steering wheel has still not been reapplied.
