Duex Portable Monitor Extender [Matte Screen] - Ideal for 14.1" Laptops Review

I liked it when I first got it. I work from home so it was nice to have a second screen that I can take anywhere in my house. It worked fine initially, but after about a month connection problems started. I would get a white screen with the Microsoft icon. Now it is very difficult to connect and it goes out in the middle of use. This is very annoying and I find it harder than it's worth. For the price, I shouldn't have too much trouble with it, especially in the beginning.

I like the fact that it has become much easier to program and draw for applications. when I write computer code; I can find something without restricting the program I use to write computer code. When I paint, I can accomplish multiple tasks by looking at the images I need to draw and still use the drawing software. It's also great that you can install it on a laptop. It also makes playing on the computer easier.

This is the most unintuitive device I have ever bought. So I got this because I needed it for programming. I followed the instructions on the pin/dot, I installed it on my Mac OS 10.15 Catalina. Well, it worked that night ONE. I needed it for work the next morning, the screen lights up for 3 seconds and then goes off immediately. i was crazy So I installed everything I had installed, reinstalled everything and it still didn't work. I loved starting. You can put it on the left or the right, it is very light and you only have to operate it with one cable. BUT - after a few weeks it started to glitter and from the third day there were problems with the attachment to the back of the laptop. If he had the ability to disconnect from the laptop that would be great (assuming crashes were an anomaly). But if he can't keep still, he's useless. In the end 3 out of 4 magnets fell off completely rendering it unusable. Its light weight

This product is great. While working from home during the pandemic, this has been an absolute lifesaver. This gives me the extra screen real estate I need from anywhere in the house. I use it every day while waiting for my youngest son to fall asleep. I'm really looking forward to continuing to use it when I get back to the office. It would be great if I had an extra screen with me everywhere in the office.

The cable only worked a few times and then the cable had connection issues. The screen did not turn on or turned on intermittently. Can't get an answer from their support team. I advise you to be more selective when buying.

I like my new mobile display. Installation was easy and the picture is better than on my laptop 😏. Other than that, it's overpriced and the magnets work, but for almost $300 they don't need to be changed every 2-3 months.

It was easy to add a monitor to my laptop. A simple update on my Mac and the monitor worked. I'm so thankful I ordered it before the virus quarantined our teams.

Traveling with a second screen is a breeze! I had to glue the magnets back into the stand. but it was an easy 5 second job with superglue - everything is a bit smaller on this screen than on a laptop, not enough to be in the way for me but might be an issue for some.

The picture quality is even nicer here than on my main screen! Very bright colors. Super easy connection! Good value for money. Would buy again!

This product is a great addition to my laptop! It conveniently slips into the carrying case so I can work with the second screen from anywhere without worrying about damaging it on the go. It can be easily removed if needed and is easy to use after setting up the driver. I especially appreciate the rotation options and the resolution is better than the monitor on my laptop!

It was a life saver and an ease of use that makes working from home on a work laptop awesome. Allows me not to repeat the home setup. It's lightweight and the magnets work great on my Thinkpad. Better spending during this extended work from home.

I have a 14 inch laptop with Windows 10 and the Duex pro is perfectly compatible with my laptop. I had trouble setting it up initially, but it works fine when I change the direction of the connector in the Duex pro. I highly recommend this product.
