Gorgeous shade of deep red Merlot. I couldn't be happier with the color as I was afraid of a less than desirable shade. but i was delighted with what i got. Top knot! Great hat. Great fit. Stunning design with or without ponytails and/or messy buns. I have actually bought over a dozen of these brim and hat versions including 4 children's versions.

This hat is great for long hair when you want to wear a ponytail with a hat. The ponytail hole is perfect, it fits over my ears and stays there to keep them warm. I also wear it with my hair loose. Both ways are convenient. I also love the bill to protect my eyes from the sun and glare; and to keep my goggles dry in inclement weather. It seems to run small but I have a small head (laughs but it's true) and it fits me perfectly.

I love this hat! That's all I wanted. The visor, the tail opens and closes the ears! I have a big hat head and it fits great! In fact, there are times when I think it's too big. The jersey is a bit loose in places, so not "windproof", but it serves its purpose and doesn't let too much air through. I'm a bit disappointed that I got it towards the end of the season and won't be able to wear it much longer, but I can't wait to wear it all season next year!

There's nothing wrong with this beanie, but when it was said that you could wear a 'sloppy bun' with it I thought maybe you could wear a beanie over your bun. The ponytail hole is too small for that. I can put my ponytail nice and then a messy bun, but the whole point is that I can wear a hat without having to pull my hair up and down to put it on and take it off. As for the hats, they're warm and soft and I love the color, but it gets three stars for broken promises.
