Satisfied with my product

The only thing I don’t like is that it has to slide on my dog, I’m scared the prongs might poke her eye. But it works well and is great quality

Pros
  • Dog pinch collar prongs are smooth and rounded to ensure that no harm comes to your pet while still ensuring that they will pull significantly less while walking.
Cons
  • May cause the dog to become fearful and timid

Where has this thing been all my life!? .

Where has this thing been all my life!? I am in heaven with this pinch collar, it worked instantly and I have an American Bulldog that puts all her weight and her chest to the ground to drag you where SHE wants to go. And she is strong! With this collar, my father-in-law can even walk her. He is in his 80's and loves to walk the dog but can't because she has broken him on many occasions, even putting him in the hospital,

Pros
  • Helps to build a stronger bond between you and your pet
Cons
  • May cause the dog to develop negative associations towards specific environments, such as the park or the vet's office

Great quality! Very durable, I can actually walk my dog!

This collar is GREAT! I actually got it several months ago and it’s still in great condition, I will say some of the plastic stoppers on the prongs fell off pretty quickly, some are still on, but it didn’t seem to make a difference in comfort for my dog. I have never ever been able to really walk my boy but now I can and he behaves and stays with me, it’s like a night and day difference.

Pros
  • Very good product the price is good the material is good size is perfect
Cons
  • May cause damage to the dog's skin and hair if used excessively

Collar dangerous for most dogs

Unlike most collars of this design, the prongs on this one are very sharp. They are supposed to be rounded. My dog has a very heavy undercoat, but I still would not use this collar on him. Prong collars are supposed to distribute the pressure and provide feedback to tell the dog not to pull. They are not supposed to hurt or injure the dog. If you used this collar on a dog with short hair, I'm sure it would cut the skin.

Pros
  • The ideal tool for training your pet to be a well-behaved and obedient companion
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs with a history of barking or other vocalization problems

Didn't teach my dog not to pull

Dog pulled even though it was hurting him.I don't like this product. Tried it several times but he still pulled on our walks. Shock collar works better and is adjustable

Pros
  • Provides reliable control even with the strongest of dogs
Cons
  • May require additional tools to use properly

Prongs are unfinished and sharp!

I have used these collars to train dogs for many years. I decided to purchase this one due to price and the misbelief that they are all pretty much the same. WRONG. I sized the collar to my dog (lab/heeler mix puppy) and went for a short walk. Everything seemed fine. However after about a week of use, and longer walks, my dog began pulling hard because of a neighbor's dog barking at the fence. When I gave a sharp pull, to correct the pulling, she yelped. The rest of the walk was uneventful. I…

Pros
  • Features a sturdy clip for easy attachment to any leash
Cons
  • May not be effective for dogs that pull excessively on the leash

Works great good for me

Bought this collar for my girl and was surprised by the durability. Very sturdy and worked almost instantly. Please use carefully and properly. Works great. For the L size for my 45lb pitty pup.

Pros
  • Love the product it makes walking my baby easier. She seems to love it also. She does very well with it.
Cons
  • After some time it is reddish, I think it is not stainless steel, but still sturdy.

Not for large or xlarge dogs.

My dog is still a puppy and I ordered a large to fit her neck. Not a chance I can even get it over her head. There is no refund section that I can return the item. The seller was prompt and delivered on time but the product is mislabeled for the size of dog.

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and secure fit for your pet
Cons
  • May cause the dog to become excessively nervous or anxious

This collar keeps popping appart

It's a good quality metal. But spontaneously the links keep popping out from one another and the dog goes free. We had a bad experience when it happened when my son was walking the dog.

Pros
  • Pet training collar stylish design with metal buckle reinforces the fastness, offering easy on and easy off in a second.
Cons
  • May cause irritation and inflammation to the dog's skin

Works like a charm! Hard to learn how to get it off

So for my i month old husky pup about 30lbs I had to remove 2 links which is damn hard to get out, that mad it hard to slide over his face so I had to learn to FLIP THE POINTING BITS INSIDE OUT, slide over his face, THEN flip point parts back in. A clip would be nice but you get what you pay for. It's not hard to put it on as I've described. It works like a charm but DO NOT LEAVE ON WHILE PLAYING. my mom made that mistake while dogsitting and he got caught by the collar under her storage shed…

Pros
  • Corrosion-resistant to withstand the elements
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable for the owner to handle

Good for him but links won’t come off

I have a 9 month old cane corso puppy and this dude will literally yank me around like I’m not even holding his leash. I’m 4.11 and 110lbs and he’s not even full grown so the fact that he’s already so strong scares me. The other day he actually yanked me down to the ground and that is when I had it. I couldn’t let this dog be in control of me. After I put it on you can see I only have him with one finger so it’s working well, when we went outside and he saw his weakness on the stairs (water) he

Pros
  • Works like it's supposed to.
Cons
  • May be harmful if worn for extended periods of time

Broke Twice: my feedback

This seller's collar broke after my dog went after something. The entire metal piece attached to the leash bent and rendered the collar useless. This happened once and I reordered. Then it happened again. Buy another brand.

Pros
  • Lightweight for easy handling
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs with thick fur

The sizing is wrong

After reading the size of this collar and measuring my dog this collar was supposed to fit. Yet it’s still to big. I won’t order another since this one took so long to get to me even with prime. The collar is not that sturdy/strong

Pros
  • Designed to prevent slipping or slipping off during use
Cons
  • May cause the dog to become overly submissive

Prongs are SHARP. good for me

Prongs are sharp and not sanded. The prongs are also all facing the same way.Don't waste your money it has the possibility of really injuring your dog. I got it and never even put it on her; save your money and get a Hermspringer instead. This belongs in the garbage.

Pros
  • 4334764775
Cons
  • May be too harsh for young puppies

great for training!

This is the tool needed for training and correcting dog-pulling. The dogs learn quick! Its a must, especially for med-larger breeds!

Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs with skin conditions

Great for dogs that pull!

Nothing i dislike, good make! Used on my Husky/Shepard mix because she wanted to mush so much.took only 1st try and she relaxed and walked by my side! Saved me sore arms!

Pros
  • Helps with training and obedience
Cons
  • May not be safe for dogs with respiratory problems

Great when used properly

Great when used properly. Thick metal that won’t bend or break easily. I do recommend you looking into how to properly use this type of collar before putting it on your dog. These are great for training and for going on walks with strong dogs or even skiddish dogs that are new to their surroundings until both you and they are comfortable and sure of how they will react to a new situation. When used properly this collar will not hurt your dog.

Pros
  • Provides a safe way to control your dog without choking them
Cons
  • May be difficult to clean and maintain

VERY difficult to get the links apart

I like the collar and it works well and is well made. My only complaint was that it was VERY difficult to remove links. So much so, that I needed a man and pliers. I have used these collars before and they were not that hard to remove links. Once we got them off it was easier to use the collar but man they are TIGHT on there.

Pros
  • Got the black one. Works good. Easy to put on and take off.
Cons
  • No way to take on and off unless you undo a prong which is annoying

Works great! for my opinion

Love these for my dog especially for my 10 month old Saint as she was pulling me on our walks. But this is a good reading collar to remind her that it’s not ok to pull. DO NOT LEAVE THESE COLLARS ON ALL THE TIME ONLY ON A WALKING LEASH!

Pros
  • Good quality and fast delivery
Cons
  • May cause discomfort and pain to dogs
